The Post holder shall provide comprehensive Physiotherapy in the community setting that assists clients to achieve optimum health and quality of life in situations of chronic disease, acute illness, injury or through the process of dying. The candidate shall practice independently at all times across one’s professional discretion and decisions, in line with the Code of Practice for Physiotherapists in Malta, the Laws of Malta, and relevant European and international frameworks, directives and legislation.  Community Physiotherapists working with 3C Malta are expected to assess the level of mobility that is relevant to the patients’ ability to function at home through holistic assessment of needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of care plan/s, the education of clients and informal carers in collaboration with all related stakeholders. The candidate will work with clients, recommending exercise, carrying out massage, and using high-tech equipment and therapies, depending on our clients’ needs whilst promote good health and advise clients on how to avoid injury.
