The post holder shall provide comprehensive nursing care in the community setting that assists clients to achieve optimum health and quality of life in situations of chronic disease, acute illness, injury or through the process of dying. S/he shall practice independently at all times across one’s professional discretion and decisions, in line with the Code of Ethics and Standard of Professional Conduct for qualified nurses in Malta, the Laws of Malta, and relevant European and international frameworks, directives and legislation.  Community nurses working with 3C Malta are expected to apply the nursing process to ensure the provision of good quality nursing care through holistic assessment of needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of nursing care plan/s, the education of clients and informal carers in collaboration with all related stakeholders.
